Following is a partial letter sent out to Bike stores around the state. It gives a rough idea of what MBAA is trying to do this year and how things will be different from past years. I encourage all my athletes to make your voice heard when it come to what you don’t like or Do like during the season. Gen at MBAA appears to be very motivated to make this season the best in many years.
The 2005 MBAA Arizona State Championship Point Series will be promoted by the MBAA itself (rather than through a contracted race promoter). Because the series in the past has been put on by a contracted promoter, MBAA is not totally aware of what, has gone on behind the scenes in the past several years. The MBAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to representing the interests of the mountain biking community, enjoy mountain bike riding, advocate for trails, and support of the below-listed race series.

Synergy Coaching and Swiss American Bicycles invite you to participate in this year's Turkey Cycle on Thanksgiving Day at 8:00am. Here's your opportunity to get some exercise, get out of the house, escape the relatives and have some fun!
Synergy Coaching is putting a training program together which will start in May to Race day in August. The race itself fills up on the first day and registration is usually the second week of January. We will incorporate the regular race season and then transition into long Altitude rides in the San Fransisco Peaks in Flagstaff. Then in July we will make a trip To Leadville Colorado to pre ride the actual race course.
Steve Campo has done this race four times and received the Big Belt Buckle, the Holy Grail of this event.
