Welcome to Glover Sports Art
Matthew Glover has been active in sports for most of his life: as an athlete, a coach, and an artist. Working in a variety of media, Glover attempts to capture an athlete's energy, emotion, and personality. While he considers himself more an illustrator than an artist, he goes well beyond attempting to create the photo replicas often seen. His style is raw, rich, and vibrant. Glover teaches high school art in Glendale, Arizona. He is involved with many commercial and non-profit projects.
Glover has produced works on commission for professional athletes, collectors, and for charitable promotions.
Charitable and non-profit opportunities
Working with charities and the athletes supporting them, Glover is available to produce original artwork and high-quality prints suitable for fund-raising or other purposes.
For the Franklin Templeton Tennis Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona he produced works portraying tennis players Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Marcelo Rios, and Patrick Rafter. These original works were signed by the athletes and sold through the
event's charity auctions.
Glover Sport Art will be happy to work with you to create an effective fund raising program. A high quality, limited edition, autographed print from an original work by Matthew Glover marketed to the public or an existing donor base, can provide an extraordinary fund raising opportunity.
Please contact Glover Sports Art to discuss these opportunities. We will be happy to provide you with a detailed proposal.
