Synergy Coaching is a full service coaching company, founded in 1997, catering to athletes who want to get serious about their sport. Our specialties are road cycling, mountain biking, triathlon, adventure racing, and lifestyle fitness.
Synergy Coaches, Steve Campo in the Southwest region and Janine Jacobs in the Northwest region, strive to bring their athletes the best in cutting edge sports physiology. We offer Anaerobic Threshold Testing to our clients as a way of providing a superior training tool to create a stronger athlete. Synergy Coaching uses a variety of training methods such as heart rate and power based training.

Anaerobic Threshold Testing
Synergy Coaching is pleased to offer Anaerobic Threshold testing to clients as well as other athletes interested in training with a heart rate monitor and using accurate intensity levels. Coupled with Synergy’s well developed coaching program, this tool helps set an athlete up to achieve goals.
AT testing has been administered to thousands of Synergy athletes over the past decade and has established a protocol of extreme accuracy that is a proven benchmark for effective training. The Anaerobic Threshold Test sets the foundation for training smarter, not harder.
AT testing is used to establish numbers for both bicycling as well as running. The test is approximately 40 minutes and is administered by a Synergy Coaching USAC, USAT certified coach using the athletes own bicycle, and our software program written for a computrainer and/or the treadmill. After completing the test, athletes will leave with a set of training zones that will provide a base for athletic development.
